There is a wide variety of granulators, which can be categorized based on their structure, function, and application. Below are some common types of granulators and their characteristics:

Ring-die granulator: Suitable for large-scale production; it produces granules through the extrusion action of a ring die and pressure rollers. The resulting granules feature high density and hardness, making this type widely used in sectors such as animal feed and biomass energy.
Flat-die granulator: Features a relatively simple structure and ease of operation; suitable for small enterprises or laboratories, and capable of producing granules in various shapes.

Rotary granulator: Uses a rotating granulating disc or drum to form granules through centrifugal force and friction; suitable for materials with high viscosity.
Fluidized-bed granulator: Utilizes fluidized-bed technology to suspend and dry materials in a stream of hot air during granulation; the resulting granules are porous, have a large surface area, and offer good solubility.
Each type of granulator offers unique advantages and is suited to specific applications; users should select the appropriate equipment based on their actual needs.
